Children's Recovery

We don’t just offer children a retreat in the Carpathian Mountains. We use evidence-based medicine and technology to equip them with lifelong self-regulation skills.

We utilize clinical-grade Biofeedback systems from Mind Media. Trusted by NASA, this technology focuses on retraining and balancing the autonomic nervous system (ANS). Children can visualize their stress on a screen and learn to consciously shift their bodies into a state of calm.

We partner with Bodynamic International, a globally recognized Somatic Psychotherapy School. Through specialized somatic exercises, we safely release "trapped" fear energy, treating shock trauma where words alone cannot reach.

Training Professionals

Raise.UA is scaling its expertise to transform the mental health culture in Ukraine.

We train Ukrainian psychologists and rehabilitation specialists in advanced global methodologies. Upon returning to their communities, they provide life-saving support every day—not only to children, but also to active military personnel and civilians.

We measure our program’s outcomes "before" and "after" in collaboration with our academic partners — Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Precarpathian National University.

Veteran Integration

A unique peer-to-peer mentorship program.

Through adaptive sports, they learn to interact naturally with veterans with prosthetics. Children see living proof that even after the most severe wounds, life goes on and can be lived to the fullest.

Connecting with the children gives them a renewed sense of purpose. It becomes their own form of rehabilitation — healing by serving the very future they fought to protect.

Global Advocacy

We advocate systemically on the global stage to ensure that Ukrainian children remain a top priority on government and media agendas.

We speak at high-level platforms (including the Parliament of Canada) and engage international media and organizations in active dialogue.

We address the acute mental health crisis of a generation shaped by war and advocate for the rights of forcibly deported Ukrainian children.

RAISE.UA evolved from the Rehabilitation Program for Children of Fallen Heroes, established in May 2022 by the Ukrainian Canadian Advocacy Group (UCAG).
Spearheaded by Olga Prodan, and operating under a Canadian-registered non-profit, the initiative quickly proved its impact: empowering 460 children and training 140 specialists across Ukraine.

Today, RAISE.UA is a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing child recovery, veteran integration, and Train the Trainers programs. On the ground in Ukraine, it operates through a strategic partnership between UCAG and the local NGO "Rehabilitation of Unbreakable." Together with RAISE.UA, we are building a Generation of Resilience.
